mercedes tailight help

well my friend has a 1999 Mercedes SLK 230. The right taillight bulb is out, and we arent sure how to get it out. Anyone know?

i searched google, but didnt find anything, and i dont feel like joining another forum to ask

pop the trunk and look and see whats holding it on.

pop the trunk and look and see whats holding it on.

we managed to get an opening to the tailight, but the bulb wouldnt come off, so im hoping to find an easier way.
