Memphis vs Sundown?

I went to a local Store that has been in Biz for at least 20yrs.. He tried to sell me a 2ohm Subwoofer. Even after I stated my amp was 500w @ 2ohm. ????? It wasn't a good deal anyway... $269 for a Memphis 10in M5... Figured the SA Sundown looked like a better Speaker for the price.

Memphis does make good gear but in this case sundown is by far the better choice. Most sales reps are pushing there agenda most of the time I don't even go to a shop unless I know exactly what I want then I walk in purchase and walk out.
