memphis subs vs JL subs

If you were going to get either sub what would you choose as far as SQ and as far as SPL? and why?

ill always say jl for sq by far...

for SPL it depends on what you are comparing, for example you cant compare a w1v2 to a mojo, or a w7 to a memphis reference series.

well wets break it down. let compare a memphis m3124d to a JL 12W6v2

or how about a mojo to a 13 w7

well, ive heard both the w7 and the mojo...id say w7 hands down.

our comp guys his high 160's with a single 13w7 on the audiocontrol without sweating and scores perfects in SQ comps.

the comp guy in my town with 2 15" mojos only hits high 140's low 150's...just one example.

personally i didnt like the way the mojo sounds at all, very pingy...the w7 sounds very natural and deep.

because its hard to find an RE dealer around houston.

and memphis has a very good warranty
