Memphis PR1000d vs. Hifonics NX750d

So I've got the Hifonics NX750d pushing a PBX SQL15 in a correct size slot port box. It sounds decent without the gain on the amp being above half. After that it gets decently loud but SQ goes out the door. So on Ebay I found this guy with a used Memphis PR1000d for 150 bucks. I ordered it hoping I'd get some kinda change. What do you all think?

swapping amps is not going to really change the SQ
