500 is plenty, they dont need gobs of power to have decent output

well first, is it a new amp that says 500 on it? or is it 500rms, big difference on the new amps from fosgate

Alot of people underestimate the sound you can get from 500 watts. With the L7 its still going to get perdy loud, just make sure you give it a large ported home and it will come to life.

Ah, I just assumed the amp had one on there....or he can just tune really low not really sure what the fs on the kicker is though.

just added a kicker kx3 3way so my sub will have subsonic filter!

what will happen if i add a 1.0farad capacitor to my setup? on my 500watss rokford will it louden the bass?? explain to me capacitors do is it ok to add a 1.0v capacitor 2 my setup

1.0v? i thought they made em at 14.4v, are u talking about a 1farad cap?
