Memphis MOJO15... worth the tag??

I'm seeing these subs in more and more daily setups, and was curious on how they perform for daily.. i was lookin at a wall of sx's but now that re jumped price, this sub is catchin my eye.. Good, bad or indifferent comments will be any help

Ok, in ur opinion whats a better 15, for the same price ($400) that will do more, and by more i 'm talking 80% DD , and 20% comps..

well it just depends on what u want... if u want crazy loud sloppy bass a used dd9515 would suit your needs

if you want very accurate semi loud bass id look for a used SI mag 15

the mojo is pretty sloppy i had one and it loves a big box ( very ineffecient sub ) and can take a huge amount of power ( 2 AV 150.1s @ 1/2 ohm each and loving it )

R the 3500's sloppy too in your opinion? I've heard both sides and I'm about to buy the 3500s, I don't want horrible sq...

EDIT: but to contribute to the thread I have heard mojos at a local dealer, not in car but in a soundstage and I didn't like em much. They sounded sloppy and empty to me, but then again it was a soundstage and they ussually sound like shit compared to in a car...

The m3 mojo is a great sub, and it will hold its own with dd imo. They do lack sq, but for rap, and street beating, they are perfect. I thought 400 was a pretty decent price, especially considering your getting the chrome basket, wich usually adds on the price significantly. I say go for it, they are some beasts, and can take whatever you throw at them.

Well like i said i'd love to do a wall in my old car (96 grand am) it's not all out dbdrag, i just want to do a nice little project to be in the 50's.. Without going to crazy ( with the$$$) So the mojo just caught my eye, as did the dd 9515's .. But i wanted to keep inunder a 5000 watt setup just because i dont want to get "TO" crazy, if thats at all possible with a wall:

Good luck getting into the 50s... especially if your talkin dbdrag style ( on the dash car off ) not saying it cant be dont, but its not as easy as you appear to think it is

I've been to dbdrag shows in the past 3 yrs... Seen how it all works, and even being new to the "sport (hobby)", i know full well 150 db takes time patience money the right equiptment , enclosure etc.. So i know its not a cake walk.. Especially in a car( SUV's = dif. story), But seeing ppl with subs like id's re sx's even w7's in the high 140's , this is far from a long shot

well, options are open .. i havent started yet, i want to make a 100% decision on exactly what i want to do, and not rush into it.. Price optional now, i'd say.. DDz1, PB3000, memphis mc4kw, RF T4000bd,Usamps ax3000, Those a few options, but iit's all relative now because i'm not sure on sub setups yet

call tcsounds and have them build u a decent 15 that can have the potential to get louder than a mojo15
