properly grounded? make sure gains + bass boost arnt maxed out... after you check that and its still not working then you got yourself a $400 paperweight

um well if gain is 100% then i dont think any amp would last to long without going into protect

gain is used to match the voltage to the headunits pre-out voltage ... if you have gain to 100% then its assuming that your headunit voltage is like .0002 when in reality its usually much higher (2 volt for example from my headunit)

If gain was set to low and had high number on HU preout could this cause amp to get hot???
