amp suggestions for 1 12" Re SX...

ive done a lot of reading on here as well as other sites, and ive been given a couple of ideas...i just want a few more to look at...i own a kx1200.1 which puts out almost 1450 watts at 1 ohm, i also have a hifonics which i think does close to 1300 at 1 ohm...i dont want to put overkill on it, i know the rms is 1000, and i know its best to give more, but how much more on this sub?...ive given consideration to the ed nine.1 but ive also read some negative on here...so i would just like a few more...i will make my own decision obviously, but i like choices, and i enjoy the reading...budget is no more than $650 if possible, so i should be able to get a top notch amp for that $ and also this will be a daily use amp, so durability is required....thanks....

yea? i didnt want to blow it up and i dont know where the peakish lies, cause im going to punch it as high as i can...im just going to have to drop the gain down quite a bit...that amp is beastly...

they will take 1600 all day why would you need to lower the gain on the 14xx kicker

well like i said, didnt know what it could handle on a daily basis...i mean its not posted everywhere what it safely handles above the rms, and there are so many guys out there cramming 2000 watts into these things, so i dont want to do that...just making sure what it can take...if thats the case im just going to run the kx to it and let it blast...
