memphis mc1500d

want to know if anyone has one of these are they worth the money and also are they 1 ohm stable and how much power output being that the company does not give any specs on that .

If im not mistaken it is rated and 1100 watts at 1ohm. Great amp and well worth the money, I wish I could afford one. Its the only amp you need if you do get it (5 channel amp) the sub channel is 1100 watts, I forget what the other 4 channels put out. This amp sells around $900-$1000 bucks. Check Ebay I think there is one for sale for cheap and he has all the specs for it. Could it be the MC1300D which is known as the Memphis belle? If so then it is rated at 1100x1 at 1ohm and 75x4 at 4 ohms.

The also make a 1500D which is a mono block, this amp is rated at 1500 at 2 ohms. The 1500D I don't think can go

down to 1ohm.

They make a 1000D which makes 1000w rms at 1ohm.

Anyway you put it Memphis makes bad *** amps.

I am running 2 of the memphis 1500d's at 1ohm, haven't had any problems other than a blowen altenator.

still have no idea of what they put out at 1 ohm tho,

all I know is my sub loves the memphis power, and my volts drop down to 8.6 with the gains at half while driving around.

8.6..wow you are going to need to upgrade your electrical system.

The MC1500D was not met to run at 1 ohm, it is rated at 1500w rms at 2 ohms. However the MC1000D is rated at 1100w rms at 1 ohm.

You are asking for it with your set-up, hell running at 8.6v is insane.
