Memphis/Fultron?

If I remember correctly,Memphis and Fultron is the same business correct? Asking because theres a guy on craisglist local selling two 18's. In the ad it says Memphis Fultron 18's f/s. Anyone know if they are worth getting. He is askin $100.00 for both. Says one sub is perfect and the other needs a wire soldered onto the voicecoil. Just want to know if its even worth messing with.Subs are single voice coil.

I know there amplifier were very good and i'm not sure about the subwoofer you could get them and try it out.

Those things are pretty old.They were good for the day but after so many years especially if he's been using them I'm sure there about on there last leg.Might be worth it though to buy and recone em with newer updated soft parts.Would end up being pretty cheap to do.

Good idea, Im gonna see what the baskets look like and see if they are worth upgrading.

Memphis has always made quality audio for as long as i remember.

Don't expect much, most likely a low power, low xmax old school driver.
