Ok, so I built my box for my DD 8's and I used RE box calculator and forgot to account for DD's formula of always keeping the port between 18-22 inches long. I have 2 cu ft with 32 sq inches of port area about 30 inches in length. What effect will this have on the tuning of the enclosure? How big of a difference is this from where it should be.

Thank you!

the tuning for that box is 35hz with driver displacement included, ideally you want to build the inital box for your brand new 1508's to 40 hz. Once the subs break in, then you could tune lower, which I wouldnt think 35 hz would be bad for a pair thats broken in. If the box is already built, it wouldnt hurt to try it out and see if you like how it sounds. 2 cubes is on the big side for 2 8's though.
