Memphis Car Audio

Been out of the car audio spot light for about 8 years and just now trying to get some info on the stuff thats out there now. Really would like some input on the Memphis line of speakers and amps. Current set-up I'm looking to run is as follows in an 03 Toyota Tundra: Pioneer DEH 6700 Head Unit, Memphis Belle 5 channel amp, Memphis m-Class multi sync for front doors, Memphis m-Class co-axial for rear doors, Q-logic sub box made espically for Tundras and 2- 8 inch subs. Not looking to blow the roof off, but do want clear crisp sound with some bottom end for a little thump. Any input about memphis would be greatly appreciated. Listen to everything from rock, club/dance, rap to country.

Well they have a all memphis dealer out here...thats all he sells besides pionner speakers.......i mean even their weakest subs are loud especially the 05 models...he let me here a demo car off of 1 memphis 1000, and 4 12's i think they was the power referance 12" subs and they got hella loud......i mean for what i know they amps are one of the better mainstream line of amps....memphis 1000 comprable to a JL 1000

get the NEW 05 power reference subs......they are good for that thump n they play low for what i heard.......oh also he sells those 12's for $90 so on ebay u may find they cheaper

if you are going into the doors i think you would probably like the mcsq series a little better

Oh also they dont have 8's they have 10inchers lol they should pound

the memphis bell is one of the best 5 channel amps out there. 1100 rms to the sub and 75x4 to the components. I've also heard that memphis audio's subs do sound a lot better for rock music more so that for rap....don't know if that is true or not though.

but the bell is def a good choice

the belle is uuubbeerrrr great...argueable he best 5ch on the market..i have owned the 16-mc1000d and is one of the most efficent and best sub amps i've ever owned in terms of durability and low THD and overall quality. i still have thier 16-mc3004 and it's the best 4ch i've ever worked with in my 4 years of car audio (best for the money).....

bottom line...memphis amps (mclass at least, older ones before mclass like the 16-st#### break easily) are AMAZING...

also thier subs are great...rather SPL focused but if done right will still sound great...and thier MOJO series subs are puuuurrreeee SPL balls to the wall......disguesting SPL out of the mojo's...and the mojo amp is the sexy hotness......
