Memphis C310D4

Im looking to get a subwoofer for my 06 Tiburon. I am running the RF p1000-1bd I was looking for 1 10 inch in a small vented enclosure. I was looking into the Memphis C310d4 but have never heard a Memphis. Does anyone reccomend this or suggest any other 10" in the same power range and price range?

your amp @ 1 ohm does 1000 rms. the sub has dual 4 coils. meaning you can do a minimum 2 ohm load only running one. the sub is 400 rms, and i really dont know how "well" the memphis sub will take 500 rms daily if ran on the RF @ 2 ohms.

personally i would get something that will take the brunt of the 1000rms.

whats your budget for a sub? and whats the size restraints of your enclosure for the sub?

Those amps arent 1 ohm stable so it does 1000 at 2 ohm... actually probably around 1200 ish

Realy? huh when did they start making their stuff 1 ohm stable?

When I was buying Punch stuff 2 years ago it wasnt thats why I corrected you...

My RF p1001bd does 534wrms at 4 934wrms at 2 and 1399wrms at 1 all measured at 80hz and 14.4v. At 1 ohm its 76% efficient.

The Prime series line is only 2 ohm stable and the subs are garbage, not sure about the amps.

That amp is 1 ohm stable I actually got it around 2007. My price range is 200-300 dollars for one sub. Im trying to focus on sq but wouldnt mind it to be loud. I would like to run it at 2 ohms so a sub 500-600 rms would be perfect. I would have to buy a premade enclosure or have one made. The smaller the box the better.
