Whats the diffrence between the d2 an d4 is it the ohms or the voice coil????

dual 4 can be wired to 2 or 8 ohms and a dual 2 cand be 1 or 4 ohms. thats the only difference.

Well i have a 1500 watt classd mono amp from audiopipe should i go with the d4 an hit 2ohms or with the d2 at 1 ohm

if u want more power out of the amp a D2 would suit ur needs better

what does only having a single 15 have to do with a D4 sub??

dual 2 ohm sub is wired at 4 or 1 ohm. if you decide to go with a memphis c3 d4. i will sell you one bnib for $210 plus ship.

Get a D2 and wire it parallel. That'll give you one ohm.

I would buy it but I went to a sound shop an I've already blown five 15 i candys in a row then they told me that the amp was to strong. So I decided to swap out the entire thing with a c3 an a smaller amp I have a 1500 watt mono audiopipe I just wanna make sure I make the right match up this time an would solve my problem

What coil config AP sub were you buying? Dual 2 or dual 4? And how were you wiring it? I kind of have a hard time believing that you had to blow 5 subs in a row to now just come to the conclusion that maybe you wiring it wrong. Something didn't dawn on you earlier? Maybe checking out a subwoofer wiring diagram web page? Just seems odd.....

No wAy I had a 15 in audio pipe 2x4 I had it wired +:+ -:- which would be at two ohms the amp I had was a 1800 watt mono block audiopipe

I said the same thing an the ppl at street coustoms had no idea wAt was goin on even they installed it the last three times an same thing they'd blow voice coils were stuck solid
