Can anyone give me any comparison output for the sub channel of a big belle. I am trying to simplify my system. I have a jl 300/4 and a orion xtr pro 2400. I know that I will not have near the same power as what I have now. But what other amps compare as far as the sub channel power(even if it is only a mono amp, does not have to be 5 channel). I was figuring maybe a hifonics 1208 or a jbl bp 1200. Give me some thoughts.

probably wont hear much differance at all. you'll get a solid 1100 -1200 out of that amp and to the ear itll be about the same.

belle's are amazing. one of my favorite amps ever made. you wont be disappointed.

difference between which? the orion puts out 2400wrms easy. The guy I bought it from said it benched a little over 3000wrms.

big belle's are nice amps they do rated power all around best hybrid out there the 08 models are sick

you'll be disappointed with the sub channel if your running 2500rms now...I had one of the older belle's i was disappointed with it

I debated on wether I could live with cutting my power in half. I really dont push it that hard much anymore anyway. My ears cant take it that loud anymore. I think I would be happy with an actual 1100 - 1200 wrms. I also think the belle is the biggest 5 channel I have seen for sub output. I have not heard one though and wondered if it would do the rated power.

Is there a big difference between the years/models and are there any I should stay away from?

cant you strap an 1100d to the sub channel on the belle and have 2400ish @ 2?
