Memphis 16St1000D run two type R's

ok I was thinkin about gettin two of these amps to run four type R's a good idea and I know you guy's are prolly gettin tired of the type R posts but that is what I have decided to get and I just want a good amp to match so is this a good idea thanks

you could run all 4 type rs off of one memphis 1000 easily. i have 4 eclipse 15s on that amp

if I were to run all four of them on one they are ( 4ohm 4 ohm) how many watts rms would I get

youd be getting about 250 a piece to each woofer if you wired the subs all in series and that would achieve a one ohm mono load!!!!

i wouldn't think that 1 amp on 2 type R's would be too much. that would give you like what 500watts rms a sub and taylor is running over 1000 watts to his single type R 15".

alums, right? and yeha, the st1000d is a great amp.

those type r's would work great off the memphis 1000d if all the subs are wired in a series!!!

first of all you could not get a 1 ohm load from 4 dual voice coil 4 ohm subs.you would need 4 single voice coil subs for 1 ohm.
