Memphis 15-ms6.1 comp set

have a set of these in my truck, curious as to whether to stick with these or go with something new. whats everyones take on these? i know they are an old product, but sometimes older is the better stuff. in this case i dont know, not familiar with memphis stuff. have one that cuts out some, i think its a connection. gonna pull it tomorrow and see, but if it is the speaker, whats comparable? i have these in pods in the kick panels, and the same series in 4inch up in the top of dash and they sound killer when they are all going.
