Memphis 1000d goin crazy

I have a memphis 1000d and when i plug the rca's all the way it it goes into pertion mode. If the outside of the rca plug is not touching the out on the rca plug on the amp it runs fine. I ran a new rca wire and i thought the old one was bad and it wasn't...then i changed the rca jacks on the board on the amp...that didn't help dose anyone know where i can look from there bc i want to fix it by myself...so i canuse it soon.....thanks you can email me at sportsnut14@hotmail.com
