Medical Marijuana passes in Oklahoma

Genetics play a big role, but imo indoor growing is easier because you can control the environment and get it as close to a laboratory as possible. Outdoors you are susceptible to all sorts of pests, bugs, mold, leos, weather etc. Indoor gives you more control over everything which is what I prefer.

I’m still active duty.
You're not far from retirement though right? Best to put that victory garden on the back burner until you got your pension locked down.

Growing outdoors Mother Nature takes over and u literally do nothing... indoor is a whole different story and it takes skill to grow good stuff. Everyone I know says they grow and have the best stuff and it’s all crap besides one guy I know and he’s got it down
Can't say much about indoor. Lights and light bill are a lot of money but beyond that I don't think it's rocket science. Get a good strain and just use Google for the correct proportion of fertilizers and watering/light schedule. The main problem I think is most stoners who are trying to grow some grass in their closet are just too lazy and forgetful to really keep on top of things. The couple guys I know that grow indoors put a lot of effort into it and they seem to get great results.

I don't smoke so I don't really care to drop the time or money into an indoor/winter crop but I've got a big yard and plenty of chickens and turkeys generating fertilizer so throwing down a few seeds and having some reefer around for friends who pop by is easy enough.

I’ll find out this winter. May retire me now. May keep me limited for 3 more years.

Smell control, heat and air flow are the biggest challenges most indoor growers face. Most growers think it takes a lot of fertilizer but you actually need very little. All major nutrient companies have fool proof feed charts for all stages of the grow cycle. You just need to be capable of operating a measuring spoon or cup. Depending on the size of your grow it could require as little as 5-10mins a day or upwards of hours to feed and prune and inspect the plants.

Thank God, Fallin gonna try to **** it up best she can..

My only real concern has to do with firearms purchasing and the medical card.

My state was the 1st to pass....but it's very tightly regulated. Just saw that Canada passed just days ago also.
should give me a good boost on the stocks also.

I hope it becomes federally legal and all 50 states allow recreational use of it. Here in Georgia you can have up to an ounce and it will be a misdemeanor. You can simply be given a summons/citation and not "have" to be taken to jail. An ounce is a fair amount to have on your person.
Speaking as a police officer, I much rather go to a house to deal with a domestic dispute where the people are high smoking marijuana, verses dealing with drunks. Someone really high is a heck of a lot easier to deal with verses a fubar'd drunk.
Out of curiosity, do you see a cultural change in the LEO community towards leaving people alone who possess weed provided they're not doing anything legitimately problematic?

I'm starting to hear a lot of stories where LEO just ignore bongs and whatnot people have and just handle the issue at hand, whether it be a call or suspicious activity, or speeding. Unless it's dealer-level amounts of bud obviously

They had me on all sorts of narcotics and muscle relaxers for my back, never did "fix" me. My spine was so fVcked with nerve damage that I couldn't control my own bladder anymore and couldn't sit up by my own power (kinda gross, but it's the reality of what some spinal injuries lead to). As soon as I got med boarded, I moved to Colorado and sought other means. Marijuana and a holistic approach saved my d@mn life (quality of life anyways). Haven't touched narcotic painkillers since 2015, I regained bladder control and can move like a relatively normal person now. Dude, there are so many better treatments out there than what the military offers. Seek it out when you retire and your quality of life can improve a LOT.

Growing it is the easy part. The drying and curing is the hard part that can make the best **** turn to crap if you don’t know what you’re doing.
I was just gonna say the same thing. Totally true statement. Seen this happen way too many times. All the work and time you put in goes to shiet from this step alone.

You just said exactly what I’m going though. The random shakes started a few weeks ago.

LED lights should mostly eliminate the heat issue.

Yea but they dont work as well as old fashioned hps and metal halide. And the good leds are super expensive, like $1500 for a setup comparable to good 1000w hps setup which only runs about $500. I've got a buddy with a med card who grows, said his 1000w double ended hps kicks out 4k btus lol.

My dad has been changing over into LEDs the last year and a half and not looking back. Apparently if you order them direct from China they are significantly cheaper than getting the same elements from people who ship them from the USA.

The up front expense of doing LEDs right is not that great when you compare to how long they last and savings in electric bills I think.... pay now or pay later.
