For sale is a 240 amp t mount alternator for a ford 6 cylinder. I had it in my 2002 f150 with the 4.2 liter engine. Less than a year old.

I'm running a alternator from a 98-04 explorer with 4.0 right now and not even using that small plug. Can't remember what it does or why it works not plugged in, thinking something with regulator or that nature, but I need one putting out more that 120-130 amps. I can kill my truck sitting at a stop light jamming out cause voltage being robbed by subs. Lol

Hmmm, I never knew if that small plug needed to be used or not, I figured it had a purpose. How much power you running? What does your setup look like as far as subs? I’m going to be installing something in my ‘96 f150
