Just out of curiosity, hairpin or conventional wound? I don't really need another alternator, but this seems like a good price. My 320 small case doesn't make a whole lot at idle

Conventional.

And yea, 320s have pretty bad idle especially on trucks with low idle (like ours). It takes a very small pulley to get decent idle output, at which point you have belt slip
