Eigensee was there, but unfortunately the rover wasn't.

Kept blowing trailer tires on the way to finals so he had to leave the rover (minus equipment) in a meijer parking lot in ohio.

And yes, they are only showing the top 3 results for each class. There were 61 spl competitors total. Pretty much every class had 5+ cars.

I was there...
Sat in Ramos and Dave Edward's rides and got to see some of the HAT stuff up close and personal.

Ramos is so FTW....Dave is cool, but super serious. Not that he shouldn't be, just serious about what he's doing.

I am certain they have forgot more about car audio than I could ever know. They also busted a bunch a myths...Good show.

Met TommyK, I think he either is or should be close to home now.

dave had a big showing to do...i believe now he is retired but dont hold me to that

61 competitors makes me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif. Sux that Eigensee couldn't get the Rover down, he put a lot into that system and woulda been the loudest in SPL.

What 15 you had in for finals?

yeh mod 4 class was CLOSE!!!! haha

i was the 2nd place person...with the 154.1. only had 2 18's no wall (downfiring) 3rd place had 8 15's in a 4th order. first had 6 12's in a reg ported wall...i was stupid and didnt listen to jacob(sundown) and tried a new fuse that was supposed to be the be all end all never blow fuse. but i had never tested with one and well...the fuse blew and cost me first place.

not to mention it was a parking lot install on sat nite!! lol jacob man i owe ya one big time. if we had more time with the amps and tuning and interior mods we prolly would have seen a 156+

I was actually running a 12", mistake in the results. DD 9512F and 2 kicker zx2500's.
On a side note, darn good thing that I made it home last night. Started up the truck this morning and it was making a god awful noise. Popped the hood and one of the pulleys completely lost it's bearings and was just spinning on the plastic!

yup, s10 will be going to s5 or s4 for next year. i still plan on trying to get her close to a 160 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i built the box thur nite before i left to go to finals :laughs: showed up to finals with just a box sitting in the truck. fri nite i installed SQ setup, and sat nite installed the SPL amps

and down firing was the loudest(in my testing)

next was sub forward port up(1 db lower)

then sub up port up(lik .4-.5 lower)

and i cant remember from then on out

My teammate was the guy with the 8 15's in a 4th order, if he would have payed attention and not got distracted he could have won, he posted a 154.4 the day before but didn't tighten his fuses down. He had a few more tenths in it but that's about all. He was doing 155.5 until he broke his roof braces lol. Either way congrats on your score that's impressive for something without much tweaking or testing.
