MECA finals Death Penalty Rebuild.

Well it's time for a rebuild. I am shooting to win MECA Street 5 finals this year. I set a state record so far this year with my two death penalty 21's. 148.6 at the headrest. Thats pretty good I think, and I am very happy with it being my first year competing. I have also picked up xs power as a sponsor, and am a member of Team DBs!

Now to win the finals I am going to need to get louder. In the mid 150 range. So I sold the 21's and am getting 4 2010 model Death Penalty 18's, an will be running them off of my new 40.1!!

40 hz, and it wasn't sealed up.

You did that with the two death penalties? That seems low, no offense, especially for 2 21"s. I did a 148.2 with a single 18 at the headrest with one door open on about 1200w @ 55hz. I realize mine was a higher frequency, but you see what I'm getting at. How much power? That just doesn't make sense to me. Was it a straight tone or on music? Got off work a little early this morning, so I worked on my box for a few minutes. Gotta go to the hardware store when I get up to get a few things.

Well I had a couple of set backs yesterday, I messed up both top baffles, had one hole a half inch off, and then on the second one I got my center lines mixed up. So instead of the subs being in a v shape the were running diagonal to each other. Like so.

Well I got some more birch and got it all fixed today!
