Me new house =]

this use to be all country where i live but theyve started buildin houses like crazy... 500-600,000 houses in the past couple years and our land has went from $2000/acre to last i checked $40,000/acre just in 2-3 years.

yeah the charleston land prices, right now are like 3rd highest in the country, for growth wise, just 6 months ago the average ppa was 2200, nd because of all the anticipated building due to the new companies, its like 13000 a acre in 6 months, the condo i live in i paid 90 even for that was in august im a land surveyor, and i worked with the company who built them and i bought one of the first ones, as of 2 weeks ago its already worth 150 and supposed to keep rising, so if anyone lives within 60 miles of Downtown charleston buy land now even if its only a acre.

Please tell me that those amounts are not worth complaining about. Where I was building a year ago (Fairfax County, VA) a continuous acre of buildable land was upwards of $480,000. Neighboring Loudoun County is about $320,000. In WV, where my house was built, my wife and I priced new lots at $125,000 for an acre.

At $13,000, I'd buy 5 acres and not blink.

(sorry- I came across as an @$$ there. I was just trying to say that $13K an acre is not that bad, in the grand scheme of things.)

Not an intelligent idea to put your street address out like that. You never know who will show up lol.
