MDF Trunk Floor ??

IMO i think 3/4" mdf is overkill for a floor board. It will not help with the bass and will just be extra weight which will = a waste of gas.

1/4" would probably suffice depending on the trunk. If I would to go with 3/4", I'll go with birch. Weighs less and is sturdier than mdf.

 
I used underlayment used in flooring and nailed supports to the bottom to give a little lift in it and make it sturdy. Then threw some vinyl over it to make it look professional

Well so there really isnt a point of nailing that bad boi in huh? Well would the 1/4" mdf wood be ab etter trunk floor?

 
i built a half inch mdf floor so i had something to screw my amps down too and the stock cardboard sucked. I took my spare out and threw a kinetik 2400 in there, then threw new carpet on the mdf so when i sell the car i still have the stock stuff to put back in. just drill holes in the mdf to make your wires come up whereever you want them
