Best Sub For Me?

Right now i have 2 memphis m3 12's in a sealed box. Each sub has 1.1 cu.ft. They are running off a rockford fosgate p1000. low passed @ 50 hrtz. To me they sound like total crap. I was just expecting way more. The low notes sound horrible. Im done with memphis subs. What subs would you guys recommend? Oh yeah they are behind the backseat of a dodge megacab. Any help much appreciated.

hold all else the same and try a vented box built to spec!? i haven't seen the megacab so i don't know the space you are dealing with.

will I see that much of a difference going from sealed to ported? Also will the m3's get as loud as type r's.

I have never used either speaker, but would expect that on the same watt rms, the memphis would have higher output....ported will yield higher output within its tuning...i have seen that a low tuned ported design is much louder than a sealed at lower frequencies.
