Mclass vs PR, ported vs sealed

So im either going with two 12" memphis mclass or pr subs.

What are your recommendations? Mclass or PR? Sealed or ported?

depends on how much room you have

mclass are designed for a bit smaller enclosures

they work out a bit better sealed

i've got 2 PRs in 5 cubes with about 80 sq inches of port tuned to about 3 6 hz and they ****ing pound.

it's rediculous how much sound you can get out of those subs

considering they're only about 80 bucks a pop

I love my MClasses. I think they sound a lot better than the PRs.

Plus,you'll save a lot of space. My 12s got plenty loud for me in .5 cubes apiece sealed

i have an alpine MRP-650 amp, so if at all possible, it would be nice to just use that

im upgradding from a single 12" type r in a ported box

with the mrp 650 I would go with the PRs in about 6 cu ft(gross), tuned from 35-38.

Don't remember, but if you only want loud, go with the PRs. They're cheaper.

They also sound really good for what they are. Good all around budget sub, that works good on little power

id go with the prs over the mclass unless you are out for sq , if you want bass then prs....

but not no dam 6cf box for them there not btl's or t1's....

I'd go with the M3s....I'm plannin on gettin one M3 myself in a 12.... its about $80 more than the M1 and your payin for almost twice the peak rms....so its worth it IMO.....your payin for that boom on top of SQ

but that would be totally pointless to get 2 M3s bc he doesnt have near the power to push them. Plus the M3s are not a great sounding woofer. IMO the PR sounds much better, and 2 12" PRs will get louder and sound better than 1 12" M3.

Your right he doesn't have the power to push M3s but I was sayin if he wants boom on top of SQ to go w/ the M1s and for only $80 more I'd go w/ the M3s...b/c Mclasses sound better than the PRs IMO...
