^^^agreed, getting a more powerful amplifier than required is a good idea. This way you can prevent distortion at higher volumes and keep the amplifier from over working itself while bringing out the full potential of the speakers. Unfortunantly I dont have much experience with MB Quart amplifiers but I do know that onyx is their entry level stuff and being a Maxsonics company, I doubt you will see much difference between this amp and a crunch one... Ill do some research and see what I can find if you give me a price range
