i would say it depends on the ohm load going on it. but i would say kicker b/c its a class d and the mb is a class a/b

True about the class D. I didn't even consider that. Either way you should be fine, the A/B will just be a little less efficient and will take more jucie to amp the same watts.

Are you aiming for a 1ohm load, or a 2ohm final load?

It all depends what your speaker load is. Do you have a Dual 2 ohm, or a Dual 4ohm L7? If you have a dual 4 ohm speaker, get the Kicker. If you have a dual 2 ohm speaker, get the MB. Like I said, it all depends on what load your speaker is.

Thanks. Its a 4ohm sub. I have a soundstream702 running it now but it could be a little louder thats why I was looking for a bigger amp.

i had a kicker zx and it went into protection mode for no risen and i replace it with a mb quart amp and i was more inpress with the mb quart am than the kickerp so i would say go with the mb quart

Doesn't mean the Mb is better. So what, electronics mess up sometimes. I have an Audiobahn that lasted longer than my Rockford, but still like Rockford better. I also have a zx1500.1 and a zx350.4 and have had no problems. Amps don't go into protection for no reason, you just didn't know what the reason was.

the kicker amp work fine for 2 years running to my components but it just went out on me one day and to me mb quart sound quality was way better
