MB Quart opinion

anyone with any experience with mb quart subs? i'm deciding between a 15" mb quart or a 12" type r. I like the mb quart and the type r's are too common around here. Either will be run with a kicker 750.1. just wanting some opinions on the mb quarts.

i believe someone just did a review on the MB quart subs, you should do a search and see if you can scrounge it up.

If i remember correctly, the MB quart sub was more SQ oriented while still getting fairly loud

The Type-R will get loud (i know from personal experience), but i dont know how it compares sound quality wise to the MB quart subs.

However, if you are going with a sealed enclosure, i would not get a Type-R

i can't seem to find the review your refering to (can't find any in-depth reviews about it). thx for the info though, i think i'm gonna try out the mb quart (it's ~$30 less expensive anyways). Will the kicker 750.1 work well with it? the 15" mb quart is 700wrms, so it seems like it would be a good matchup.

Subs are completly different, MB Quarts is a great SQ sub, but wont get loud, i had 2 10" that sounds louder than this 15", type R will eat the MB quarts in loudness.

So if you want SQ mb, if you want loudness Arrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg

I just picked up 2 Mb Rwe-352s to run in my stealth. All the reviews Ive been able to find on them basically states the same that was said here. A good sq sub, but not very loud.

I'm sure with 700wrms it will bump fairly well even if it is more SQ oriented.

These subs not get loud? Yeah right. They only require 1.5cubes each sealed and hit the lows extremely well. Very nice accurate sub that gets loud at the same time. Cant vouch for the Type R but the MB Quart ill please you. I just sold my set of 2 of the 15's with a zx1000.1. All I can say is that i miss them already.
