mb quart onx1.1000d, clean and cool?

Lmfaooh so now i dont know how to operate a 2 grand oscope?

Mmkay

so cheap components play into nothing?

When my amp is tuned PERFECTLY and theres no mechanical parts in the amp

it means a cheap component failed.
Just because it cost 2 stacks doesnt make you qualified to operate it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Man up, u dont know as much as you think you know, admit it

Fact of the matter is i probably tune my system a whole lot better than you do.
Says the guy that fried his amp

Im sure I have owned more amps then you, and I have never ever blown a single one, from Jensen, to JL and Zapco, Cheap parts will still work if used correctly...

Its amazes me of how many Hi-End amps use "cheap parts" too! ^ Agree though I think I have owned more amps then most as well and I have never blown one unless I was trying to or wanted to see how far I could push it before thermal break down.

OP you'll be more than happy with quart. If you can find one of the amps from their discus line, great, snag it. The discus line is superior, as it is slightly more underrated and they are strappable. However, that's not to say that the onyx line is bad. Both are great and you will be pleased with either.

Hell step it up and get he Onyx 1500.1, I am running the Autotek M4000.1d (new one not the old) on a pair of DD1510's at 1ohm and its a beast of an amp for 160.00, does evry bit of 1500rms and its the same internals as the Onyx.

The Onyx line is better built then the discus.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I only had issues with the MB Quart DSC-1500d was it not working out of the box, But I think SE bought some B-stock amps that were fubar from the get go, 3 in a row was a tad much, But the one I finally got worked great and had plenty o power.

The DSC2150 was a stellar 2 channel amp, I just sold my last one about a month ago. never had any issues with it.

Lets see i said i was pulling abt 1k RMS outta it... gain was set just below half i wasnt pushing this ampi used an oscope to tune it and full power = stinky subs so i backed off it quite a bit

Electrical is stock but i recieve NO voltage drop at 1K RMS stock battery but 120AMp alt

I know what im doing man

Amps will do rated

but its not very clean power.
unless your car came with 1/0 big three from the factory there is your problem.... my car has a 140 amp alt from factory and before I did big 3 I was getting voltage drop with less than 1k on it.

Pics of this 2 grand oscope?

Definitely say you ****ed the amp up doing something wrong. No way you set it with an o scope then blew it. Until I see pics of this oscope, I don't believe you have one.

I've had my MB Quart ONX1.1500 for about 3 months now and I love it. Definitely recommend the onx1.1000

Have you ever tuned 1 with an oscope to pull they very MAXIMUM of clean power outta it?

And no 2 grand doesnt make me qualitifed to operte it but my electrical engineer stepdad taught me and well

2 grand is more to tell u that its a QUALITY o scope not a cheap ****** 1

Yep sure have

U are not ur step dad, u are not an electrical engineer, so therefore you screwed it up, because u "thought" you knew more then you did

Also just because he paided 2 grand for it doesnt tell me anything about the quality of the Oscope, Price does not equal quality, Quality equals quality

And btwDo u even know anything about the eletrical components that go into an amp?

Like a capacitor... might wanna take a look at them MBQuart ones...
Again even if cheap parts are used, if you set it with a 2 stack oscope it will work fine, unless something is set wrong..Its not just gonna think to itself I think im gonna blow up today

have you ever thought maybe i got unlucky and a component just failed?

Either way i dont have a good opinion of MB quart because of such

i know 110% that that amp was tuned correctly
