mb quart onx1.1000d, clean and cool?

I can't find much about this amp other than the same few people on this forum recommending it.

I know it does rated but I have two main questions.

1) Is the power clean?

2) does it stay cool/ is it reliable?

Please chime in if you have used this amp or know any solid info about it. Seems like a good deal for the price. But if it's just "okay" I'll probably pass on it.

thanks. I hope that trend continues but ive heard quality went down since maxxsonic took over. but i heard that might not be the case with mb quart

its a good amp, IMO the best monoblocks coming out of the maxxonics family are made by mbquart. I've had 2 1500ds and 1 2000d and they were all phenomenal

I blew a discus 1500.1 @1 ohm pushing MAYBE 1k RMS outta it -.-

cheapass capacitors failed and gave straight DC signal

You get what u pay for in car audio.

if its cheaper than the rest in price its cheaper than the rest inside as well

I heard mb quart is owned by maxxsonic but not made there.

I don't exactly hate them. I went to school with the owners son and the ppl around me who owned maxxsonic stuff seemed happy.

plus I plan to run this at 2 ohms. so I'm not exactly gonna be pushing it hard.

anyone else?

question, when u blew said amp how did you set gains??? what was your electrical? don't blame user error for the amp's failure.

Lets see i said i was pulling abt 1k RMS outta it... gain was set just below half i wasnt pushing this amp

i used an oscope to tune it and full power = stinky subs so i backed off it quite a bit

Electrical is stock but i recieve NO voltage drop at 1K RMS stock battery but 120AMp alt

I know what im doing man

Amps will do rated

but its not very clean power.

so cheap components play into nothing?

When my amp is tuned PERFECTLY and theres no mechanical parts in the amp

it means a cheap component failed.

Fact of the matter is i probably tune my system a whole lot better than you do.
