This is the sub I'll be using

Yes, single 4 ohm. I was happy with the 8w1v2 off the bridged jl 300/4 rear channels, which I think are 150 watts, but I defnitely don't want any less. So yes, I don't think I'd be happy with the 100 watts to the new sub.

I'm not sure of the rms of those subs but there's a Memphis 1000d in the classifieds around 150 shipped.

Would be great even if u decide to run 4 of those subs.

Possibly, but u really wont be able to tell. at this point all of your choices are high quality. I say find the one that best suits your power needs.

JL is the most complex amp out of these, design is amazing and so is the sound. However, it may not be as reliable as others on constant abuse (it's what I like lol)

Rockford will blew your **** speakers when it fail. That's a design flaw and too stressful for me...

I really only need maybe 65 watts for the door speakers, and I think I've been told that sub likes to be 150-250 watts. I really only have room for one 8 in my truck. I loved the jl 8w1v2 it was perfect for my tastes, but the amp kinda killed it. Is there somewhere that could rebuild the sub, or should I just throw it away?
