I installed the 1500.1 today and all I can say is nice. I took a 2 year leave from car audio, and in the past i've had the Orion 1200d, Orion 2500d, and a Kicker 750 and all I wanted was a cheap setup. This amp was cheap but does not preform as it was cheap. I would say it is every bit as powerful as the Orion 1200d and maybe then some. I have it powering 1 CVX 12 at 1ohm and it has me wanting more. This hobby is addicting and expensive.

You mean this one?

The Autotek is class A/B, the DSC1500.1D is class D. Completely different amps. Plus, the ratings on that Autotek (if it is indeed the one you're talking about) are max ratings, not RMS.

I read around a bit, seems they do rated. Can't find anything about it being the same though.

This is true. But after comparing the layout of the DSC1500.1D and the MM-1500D, I think they have the same boards.

Detailed pics of the MM-1500D here.

Then compare the power/speaker inputs and the crossover section to that of the DSC1500.1D's here.

Same board, very likely. Same components, we'll never know until someone takes some gut shots of the DSC1500.1D, which I have yet to find, unfortunately.
