If you are not looking for a money pit do not buy a car with anywhere near 100k on them. I used to sell used cars at the Ford stealership here. Most cars begin to have problems shortly after 100k.thanks for the help big bang, but i have to be at 7 g or less. My jeep grand cherokee has been nothing but a money pit and i've had it for only a month and a half. And i know 100,000 is alot of miles but it is a one owner and the owner was this guy's wife . It is completely bone dry stock (aka: blank canvas)
If you are set on buying this car, ask the sales guy about an aftermarket warranty. Usually only adds ~$10 to your monthly payment. You will be extremely glad when you are only paying $100 for a brand new transmission vs. $1500
