The guy that was gonna do the install Thursday got called into work so we have to re-schedual.

If we can get Saturday to work, then it should be done that night. The only thing left is to put in the amps, box, and sub. Little bit of deadening left to do on the doors also.. Update...with good news!

I have music....

But the bad news?!

No bass.

The amps are powered, and all wires are ran correctly. The sub has been tested to work. But the power wire coming from the amps to the sub have no sign of life to them!

Otherwise I'm loving the SLC's really clean sounding and good midbass. Hearing a lot that I haven't heard before.

I'll make a video clip of the mids hooked up next time. Hopefully I can take care of the sub/amp problem this week though! I haven't had any bass for 2 weeks now and it's just not the same!

Bring the multimeter of course we'll check it out. If i can't figure anything out we'll take it to my man Scott he can fix it

FOUND the culprit of no-bass...

I have bass now, but I think it's running at 4Ohm so that'll be fixxed soon. BUT still I'm happy anyways just because I have some bump in da trunk lol.

Sub was wired correctly to 1Ohm, nice tight sounding bass. Is there really a difference in sound after the cone has been broken in?

It will sound different over time, but it wont gradually change through the months/years..ect

Just a little FYI, its the spidr that gets broken in, if it were the cone you would have some problems..lol
