Matching output of (1) 15" with multiple 8's. what do I need?

Hey guys. I have a 2010 F-150 with a single C2 Audio Threatcon 2 sub it's in a 4ft^ ported box @ 32hz designed by Buck. It's powered by a VFL 4480 wired 4ohm @ %40.

Sounds awesome, but I need my backseat again. It'll be lifted, giving me 2.5-3ft^.

How many of what 8" subs do I need to match my output?

I have LOTS of power left on tap.

Thanks.

I'd try to fit 4 of them since you have power on tap.. Despite the huge coils on most 8's, the baskets are still limiting so extra power can really only get you so far, and only around tuning.. Throwing over 1k on an 8 for daily is a waste, IMO.. It's going to take about 3 of them just to match the 15, so the 4th one gives you a bit extra and divides your power even better, plus more "normal" impedences, if that matters.. 4 8's on 500 watts each should outdo your 15.. At least in theory, the understeat mounting may mess things up, which is where that 4th woofer comes in handy again I suppose.
