MASSIVE Second Skind Deadening Install (500sqft.) Coming up...need your advice!

Ok, here's what I will be installing next month for deadening:

160 sqft. Damplifier

100 sqft. Hazmat

120 sqft. Spectrum (3 gallons)

80 sqft. Sludge (2 gallons)

40 sqft. 19lb. Carpet Pad

500 SQFT TOTAL!

I will be deadening as follows:

DOORS

2 Layers Damplifier

+1 Layer Sludge

+1 Layer Hazmat to backside of door cover

TRUNK

1 Layer Damplifier

+2 Layers Spectrum

+1 Layer Carpet Padding

INTERIOR PANEL BACKSIDES

1 Layer Hazmat

WHEEL WELLS*

1 Layer Hazmat each side

+1 Layer Sludge each side

+1 Layer Carpet Padding each side

FLOOR, FIREWALL, ROOF

1 Layer Damplifier

+1 Layer Spectrum (firewall only)

+1 Layer Carpet Padding (floor only)

Lemme know where and how you think I should make changes, or any other advice you can give!

I think you SERIOUSLY under-estimate how much you have...lol.

I had a little over 100sq. ft. and in my Ext. Cab Truck did:

2 layers on doors

1 layer on rear side panels out skin

2 layers on rear side panels inner skin

2 layers on rear wall

2 layer on roof

And have a little left over...gonna do the outer skin of my front doors.

So, In essence...DO MORE! lol...

did you consult with ant on that list? I honestly think that parts of that are WAAAAYYYY into the overkill area, like the carpet pad on the wheel wells.

I think I wound up spending around $700 total for all of this, shipping included. I recieved 20% off of my purchases as I made sure to purchase the bulk of it during the group buy. Ant also lowered the Damplifier price to B-stock prices for A-Stock, so more money saved there.

Is it a bit excessive? Probably.

Could I have spent the money on an active system instead? Sure.

...but I have ALWAYS wanted a really quiet interior. I love my car to death (5spd 2001 Maxima) and intend on keeping this car for quite some time, so it is money gladly spent. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
