Is it a dual 4 ohm woofer? If so then yes.The massive p500.1 and d1000 are only 2ohm stable.

I think the JL W7 12" only came in a single 3-ohm coil. can someone confirm?

if that amp can run at 3-ohm, then yes.

yes, the sub is a single 3 ohm, so will it work with the massive 500.1 ??

The P500.1 is 1 ohm Stable. The DB1000 is 2 ohm stable.

with that sub, its single 3 ohm, but i would push 1000 watts to it at the least. I have a 10" w7 JL and i am powering it with a alpine pdx 1000.1 amp, it seems like it could use more juice.
