My 92 civic with 99hp (1.5l) will do 130mph on the flat...exactly what the spedo goes to...but then the fuel system shuts off. I dont't go that fast anymore in that thing anyway. It shimmys so bad at that speed you think the wheels are gona fly off. Anyway, If that happened to me, I'd probably take that as being pretty cool, and have a good laugh. Your lucky. If he pulled you over, you could have been charged with reckless driving. BTW, the fastest stock car I've ever been in was my buddie's 2003 Nissan Sentra SpecV, 6 speed. Hit 155mph, smooth as silk. Then my buddy got scared and slowed up a little. Our other freind's WRX will smoke it off the line, but once you hit about 145, the sentra beats it.

Back to the post at hand, cops in my area of Western MD are horrible. We have a very low crime rate, so they dont have anything better to do besides bust kids for pot and beer. I had a buddy get pulled over because one of his license plate bolts were missing. The cop searched his car and founf a blunt roach. He arrested him, took him to jail, and charged him with CDS posession. The legal limit in MD is .08...thats like 2-3 beers for a skinny guy like me.

Alright, so this weekend ( Friday late afternoon ) I was headin into boston from New Hampshire. I was going 100 mph in the fastlane because thats about the usual speed people go in that lane ( if youve never been near boston, then you dont know, its a experience :roll: ) Problem is my POS radar detector didnt do its job, and i passed a Mass State trooper on the highway while i was going 100, so i get a little freaked out, i see him coming to me. So he catches up to me, by this time im only goin about 70 or so. But he dosent put on his lights... he goes the lane over, gets up right beside me, puts down his window and says I QUOTE "Slow Down *******" and then SPEEDS UP and drives off, dosent even do anything.
i just thought it was hilarious afterwards, so i had to share

I go 110 on a daily basis, i just know where to do it, and where not too, if im in a 55 i usually go 65 - 70, if im in a 65 ill usually go 80 or so, and then theres this long straightaway stretch of highway thats pretty secluded that i just nail it for a good 3 or so minutes solid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Funny thing is it dosent even hurt my gas milage... my car does 50 mph in first gear and 98 in second, havent gotten to the top of 3'rd + yet

the cobra did about 140, geared way low for the 1/4 mile. my silverado has 3.73's which with 35"s keep it pretty sluggish off the line. soon to be 4.56's, either way, i will never break 85 in it whether it can or not.

and if that is the case with your dad, i think your mom might have lied about who your dad really is then. i think your real dad might be black if that is the case.

ASTYL wow, just so you know, where i live not a big town small city, this year alone 9 teens where hurt 8 where killed in 2 car accidents DUE to people like. KIDS WHERE KILLED THANKS. They didnt need a fuzz buster or a cop to tell them they killed kids for going to fast. Just thought i would let you know.

X2!!! My parents fastest vehicle is a 97 F-250 ... 7.5 liter V8 and 4:10 gearing in the rear.... tons of torque till the tank runs dry

we arent rich, but we work **** hard for what we have. my dad grew up in the projects, seriously, and my mom came from an average middle class family.
