I buy my own cars.

And 100 isn't bad if you're a good driver... it's the dumbasses that want to turn driving into a 3 ring circus that make it a bad situation.

Alright, so this weekend ( Friday late afternoon ) I was headin into boston from New Hampshire. I was going 100 mph in the fastlane because thats about the usual speed people go in that lane ( if youve never been near boston, then you dont know, its a experience :roll: ) Problem is my POS radar detector didnt do its job, and i passed a Mass State trooper on the highway while i was going 100, so i get a little freaked out, i see him coming to me. So he catches up to me, by this time im only goin about 70 or so. But he dosent put on his lights... he goes the lane over, gets up right beside me, puts down his window and says I QUOTE "Slow Down *******" and then SPEEDS UP and drives off, dosent even do anything.
i just thought it was hilarious afterwards, so i had to share

he must not have had his radar on, and you slowed down to fast for him to tail you.

Yah, I buy my own cars, pay for everything on them.

And x2 on 100 being aight if you a good driver. And if your car is safe... So you can control your speed.

I've seen people who shouldn't drive over 30 mph.. much less 65 on the freeway... and I've never been in a wreck and drive fast a LOT.

It's all about how aware you are of the rest of the world, and how you are as a driver. People who don't know what's going on right next to them shouldn't be driving at all.

I cant wait auntil I can take a driver education class with the PCA (Porsche Club of America) they teach you how to properly accelerate, corner, and brake. I thought I was good until i saw a vid of some of these guys. X2!!! My parents fastest vehicle is a 97 F-250 ... 7.5 liter V8 and 4:10 gearing in the rear.... tons of torque till the tank runs dry... but yeah poor parents FTW!

My old Boss has a Reg Cab F-250 with the 6.0 Turbo Diesel. Actually puts out more torque per liter than the 7.5. Baddass truck. You can hear the blow-off valve hiss when you pull up. We used to pull out with a 15k pound dump trailer on the back and hit 80mph before I could blink. Good truck for stump pulling or foundation ripping.

i buy my own cars and everything else on them as well.

100 is stupid unless you are moving at the same speed as traffic is. if you dont keep up with the traffic you will most likely cause a wreck. that is my only exception to speeding.

I love diesels for that exact reason, they have insane capabilities for power output, the 7.5 is a good powerhouse for a gas engine being naturally aspired too.... we would have a diesel if it wasn't for the fact we can't afford it haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

lol, down here, florida highway patrol, they be driving ANYTHING... Mustangs, Impalas, Grand Marque's, Crown Vics, Hummers, Camaro's, I've only seen 1 corvette, and my friend were at a red light, and they were racing, all of a sudden when he was at about 130, lights came on...
