Marine Speakers Switch

Ok im putting a couple marine speakers in the bed of my truck and running them off an inside amp. i want to know how to wire the switch and what to wire it to so that i can manually turn the speakers on and off so theyre not constantly playing while driving down the road.

a normal switch, put it inline to the power wire or remote wire of the amp running the speakers, remote will obviously be easier since its smaller.

Im a new guy at this so i may need a little more. SO..... just take the switch and put inline to the remote wire coming from the headunit?

yes to the amp putting power to the outside speakers, a switch any switch, a light switch can work or you can goto radio shack and buy a small one.

Alright, sounds pretty simple. I think these are the things you over think a little too much. But i appreciate it!

is the amp only going to run the outside speakers? or are they gonna run inside speakers as well?

are you trying to run the amp while tailgating or working?

i am only running the amp to the outside speakers.
