There's never been PCP in any marijuana I've ever seen. The other part is just saying you're growing stronger strains; nothing weird about that.

How sick is sick enough for you? Suppose you suffer from clinical depression: is it permissible then? What if you use it one Saturday a week to just unwind and hang out?

Youre a jackass if you smoke ,drink, pop pills sniff paint , if you are smoking weed or doing any drug for the reason of recreational use . it shows imaturity, i see people all the time who are still 40-50 and drink alot a 40 year old man with the mentallity of a (18 year old kid).

How does that show immaturity? Where have you found all of these rules about how people are supposed to behave?

It would depend on whether the legislature wrote in a provision releasing them. Or the executive pardoned them.

Forgive me, as I haven't read the complete thread....
Here is the reason marijuana should be legal: it is no one's business but my own what I do to my body. If I am not harming another human being by doing something, I should be permitted to do so. There are more advantages to marijuana than disadvantages, but that has nothing to do with it...it's simply not anyone else's right to tell me what to do on anything that doesn't impact them.

what does it matter? That's post hoc, if i'm using the term correctly. They did it when it was illegal. It's legal to kill someone in a war, but does that mean a soldier can go kill someone after the war is over?

That's a good question! There have been a series of cases where a defendant, who has been charged with possession, has argued that through a series of previous judgements, it was determined that the current marijuana laws are unconstitutional. As such, they are able to get off in court. However, in some areas, local PO are still arresting for small possession.
In other places (like the province of British Columbia), marijuana use goes virtually unchecked. In fact, the City of Vancouver made a recommendation to the Federal government that marijuana should be legalized and taxed, or at the very least should be decriminalized.

like i said smoking aint good for you. our body wasnt made for that purpose. i can see if you are sick and need to smoke to eat becuase you cant eat right or you need to numb the pain of any illness. but most of the people backing up marijuanna on here are just plain pot heads. who use it as a recreational drug. only person i know of who should be smoking pot right now is teedoottt . muthafuakas in a physical rehab. all other im a shamed of you and i bet your elders whould be too./ tread

I'm not for or against the idea, I don't smoke, never plan to, so I want to say I'm neutral on the subject, but this just hit me:

What are they supposed to do with prisoners, and everyone that's been smacked by the law for MJ ? Like if someone got jailtime for trafficking (sp?), and then this passes, what happens to them?
