Man shoots SWAT team, after they kick down his door.

They removed a load bearing wall from his moms house, to collect bullet holes, and effectively destroyed the house.

He is like 10 years into a 40 year sentence.
What happens to the house?

I am also curious who is going to pay for the door the police kicked in?

remember this thread....: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=275623&highlight=taser

and particularly this post...??

would this be any different if the guy was not in the shower (still not connected to the "shooting") and the cops bust in the door and he shoots them, not knowing they were cops? you know the whole defend your property deal.
he would be hung up and sentenced for that, but it doesnt work both ways?????
i guess it finally happened.

The house was destroyed and she was forced to move into her mother's (Brian's grandmas) trailer.

She tried to sue, but didn't ever get shit.

They never even used the wall containing the bullet holes as evidence. It was basically just a way to fuk the family over as much as possible.

You can read more about his moms attempt to get compensated for the damage to her house here:

I read that but got lost in the legalese.

It seems as if it would be any different if they got the wrong house (i am no egal eagle by any means).

So, it seems like...the police could kick in anyone's door, remove a wall (in effect, condem the place) and there is nothing anyone can do. I am hoping it is just that the lady had a piss poor lawyer.

If the wall is thought to be needed as evidenced to convict, yes. I don't see it the way you do though. To me it is merely saying you are responsible for the company you keep. Family or not. I can't say I disagree either.

BTW, I don't have time to read all that BS.

The wrong house incident is a mistake from the start. I would think them responsible party in that case. However, if they properly identified like they claim then the homeowner is responsible for escalating the situation.
