the cash option isnt the govt's fault, its his for taking that, but if he took it, he dont care. i would take the payments, but im 22, he might be old enough where payments would outlast his life. and 35% roughly on takes isnt bad, the avg person claiming -0- dependents pays about 25%, jsut the larger amt at once seems like a bigger deal

doesnt that one pay out over 40 years now or something instead of 20 like it use to be? I dont think I would live 40 years more, wonder if it is transferable to my kids or if it is lost.
