Bettr, I know what you're saying. I'm not the type of person to cause problems or drama.. but in this case you have to **** it up and do what's right. If you,re truly concerned for the dog, call the proper authorities, or try to talk some sense into the neighbors. Offer to take the dog somewhere to get treatment etc... there are options here. Looks like you,re taking the sit back and do nothing because I'm scared approach.

no not wanting to have that not my problem turn a blind eye approach and I'm far from scared, but I have to live with them and I've been checking on this dog all night up until they started fighting and if I get caught up in the middle of one of there fights we are not friends like that and I do carry a gun and no not big on fighting and hugging later

, so in the morning I will check again and if it still seems like that leg is hurt I will drive him and his dog to the vet or I will tell him like it is I'm calling animal control and reporting what I did what they do about him past that is his problem that's about all I see that I can due turn myself in and let the authoritys become involved to deal with baby sitting him as he cares for his dog.

Take a look under a 2002 toyota corolla loaded down with stereo equipment in the trunk and tell me if you think it's not backing over something there's about 5" of clearance under there if I dis-include the little protrusions of the un-ibody. the dog looks to be about 10-12 inches across the back and seeing as one side was clean and the other side black(white dog)I assume he walked out and was plowed over on his side and drug the length of the car and popped out the front end. yea I would say I backed over him. But on a good note I saw the dog a few minutes ago and it's still limping and walking around the driveway unsupervised, but in there defense drunken fights amongst each other do take a ton of your attention.

when I first hit it and it was screaming in the driveway on it's back the thought did cross my mind to shoot it to stop it's suffering I thought it was mangled but kinda glad I didn't as it stopped screaming after a minute and calmed down, it just freaked me out one second I'm backing up stereo on and the next I hear this screaming over the stereo look forward and theres a dog white dog covered in grease screaming and thrashing around in front of me, I didn't know what to do?

I live in a duplex and my neighbors always chain there dog outside the front door and I have told them time and time again to STOP IT someones going to run him over...........WELL I go to back out the driveway to go to the store and bam I back over there f*cking dog, in between the time I got in my car and started backing up the dog walked out of there opened house(yes they chill with the door open "party people") now the dogs not dead yet but they won't take it to the vet I'm half tempted to take the dog myself but can't afford to take on this bill atm! what should I do? I have never hit an animal before, much less my neighbors animal and I have the feeling if the dog doesn't see a vet it may die by morning. needless to say it's been a sh!tty day.

call your local animal control center. they will 'take care' of the dog

thank you for seeing where I'm coming from and as of now they have had four drunken fights between themselves and already left the dog out again.

Seriously though, sorry to hear about the situation. People giving advice don't exactly help sometimes. When they're not actually in the situation, they don't weigh all the factors (Being on unfriendly terms, or even them pressing charges, etc.). Just hope it all goes down smooth.
