Take a look under a 2002 toyota corolla loaded down with stereo equipment in the trunk and tell me if you think it's not backing over something there's about 5" of clearance under there if I dis-include the little protrusions of the un-ibody. the dog looks to be about 10-12 inches across the back and seeing as one side was clean and the other side black(white dog)I assume he walked out and was plowed over on his side and drug the length of the car and popped out the front end. yea I would say I backed over him. But on a good note I saw the dog a few minutes ago and it's still limping and walking around the driveway unsupervised, but in there defense drunken fights amongst each other do take a ton of your attention.

Someone please run over the OP with a vehicle and make a thread asking ifthey should take him to the hospital or call an ambulance. Maybe that would wake him up... come on man, you ran over the dog, either call someone that will treat the dog or take it yourself so it doesn't sit there and suffer!

He is in a tough spot man that's the right thing to do but you have to realize it puts him in a tough spot with his neighbors who may even try and press charges on him or some thing along those lines if it goes bad...

thank you for seeing where I'm coming from and as of now they have had four drunken fights between themselves and already left the dog out again.

I understand his situation. But it doesn't change the fact that he is sitting back while the dog suffers due to him running it over. I know it was an accident, but it happened and he should feel responsible for making sure the dog is ok. Hell explain to them that you are worried the dog is suffering.

OP, Tell them if they don't care enough to take it to the vet, that you will. I'm sure there is probably a shelter or something where you can drop the dog off and they care for it without you bearing the financial responsibility. Even if they put the dog down, that's better than it suffering there with its uncaring owners watching.

What's he supposed to do walk into the drunks apartment and take the dog? Ya I don't think getting his *** kicked is worth it... In sure he can figure out some way to get the dog the help it needs but he has to try and be subtle about it cuz like I said if the owners are low enough they could cause him some serious legal or personal problems...

BTW I was hit by a car once years ago and it was going backwards(but doing about 25mph) and it was a toyota corolla 1986 but none the less I went through the back windshield and no I did not go to the hospital smart@ss!
