making sub box smallers..need ideas

Im trying to make a box that i build alittle smaller on the inside .. i know that i can add

MDF to the sides but that would me my last resort.. i want something easier then that is there anything like that???

people told me if its a sealed box i can use polly-fil/fiberfill or fiberglass insulation.

would that work?

sounds like he wants to make his box smaller by adding polyfill...

adding polyfill will make your box seem larger,not smaller.you need to add solid objects to make it smaller. pices of mdf,2x4's anything solid

That's why I said it made no sense about what he wanted to do. He wants to make it smaller by making it larger....

High Density Foam Blocks, not the spongy kind. Can make your own with expanding foam a cardboard boxes. Just fill and tape shut. Foam will fill and compress into solid blocks. Can then be cut to downsize box to correct IT CF.

Really the box its not that big in side ... each sub chamber is about 1.4 ft3 im just tryin to make it a little smaller arround 1.1ft3 people told me to just put sold wood blocks on the back and glue them or just put a sand bag in the back

calculate your inner volume.... then decide where you want the desired volume to be.... subract that value from the total you have now... what the difference is, would be what you would need to add as a solid object... it would be easy to use scraps of MDF in places that could also double as a brace... Once you do that. you are all good.
