I agree im 18 going on 19 but some of my friends even my age there like oh doesn't that sound good i told em no sound's like sh*t because all you hear was bass you could barely hear any of the words to the music at all . see but they think cause they have prefab boxes that are huge in a suv and they think its all loud and good well i let him hear my system he's like how did you get that i said get what he said the bass to hit every time lmao i told em cause his box wasn't even made for that sub. ionsql desinged my box which i thank em for and i love my new vented box but anyway's back on topic i mean i rattle a little bit but that is because i still have to deadn my car but not like some stupid fcker's that ride by me poundn so loud there like i rattle my trunk or w/e so mine's louder i was like ok w/e u say dumb A*s. lesson to be learned here man do an audio system right don't follow the stupid trend. some call car audio

He should be flamed for being self-centered, rude, and inconsiderate. Keep your sounds in your vehicle. When I come to a stoplight I turn my system down. When I roll into a residential area or an apartment complex at low speeds the volume is already down. No one wants to hear your system. If you want to impress someone, go to the local Walmart parking lot far from everyone else and invite the person to sit in your vehicle.

My is deadened, although I still find more rattles all the time. It's hard to tell I have a system in my vehicle until you stick your head inside. Just outside of the vehicle you can barely hear the bass. Furthermore having dark tinted windows also helps people from seeing inside. Keeping the fact that you have a system in your vehicle hidden prevents people from stealing your equipment. I've had a system in my truck since I got it in 1999. Eight years later and not a single break-in.

If you really think dark tinted windows prevents theifs then you=retard! I dont even understand why people still use that lame excuse. To be honest with you it will attract them even more because usually they think the people that tint their rides have something to hide, not everyone, but a lot. I have mine tinted not because of my sound system, but because my eyes cant take lots of bright lights. Hell I even still have to wear sunglasses and still is bright too me. But, I have two cars and I have had a couple people try to break into my Focus, the one that is tinted. My eclispe, which is sporter looking than my focus never gets messed with and dont have tinted windows, but has some audio equipment in it. I have also had problems in the past with tinted windows and thieves. I just usually get lucky with them and scare them off. Not trying to be mean. This thread is out there. Been in the car audio 17+ years alot of guys on here have been around that long or longer. Just sometimes we get a little irritaited at the if I just through 4 15"s in my car I will be cool. The girls will want me and people will respect me.IMO
Nothing wrong with 4 15"s. Heard many vehicles that where tuned properly and sounded great. They also still had the ability to get really loud, to the point of turn it back down please.

One time only, next time I will jump on my banshee follow you home and make sure you heard me about turn it down or if a highschool have a nice conversasion with mom and pops.

I generally do not have this problem as most people in my neighborhood are in there mid 30's or older. We have some highschool kids in the neighborhood but they know to turn it down. They also like to stop and shoot the crap about looking at their system and improvements.

So really I am not a mean person. It was just my little rant of a wake-up call.

yea i have the same feeling about passenger air bags. whoever is riding with me didnt help pay for my car. why do they need an air bag?

First off- way to prove you are a SUPER BADASS!!!! (or more likely, an internet super badass, and personally i hope you do this and thefollowing happens to you...)

good way to get shot, or hurt BAD.... not e-thugging, as i generally agree with you, but with kids (and even parents) the way they are anymore, you are likely to get hurt eventually.... if you REALLY feel that it's worth the chance just to "speak your mind", then you are a fool. BTW- if you yell at them to "turn it down" you are just going to make their day, you do realize this, right? Way to make them think they are cooler, and more badass, or make them drive by you're house at midnight bumpin just to piss you off...

if youre cruisin the block like we do on fri and saturday. Get you some horns under the hood. it adds a impact to your bass. A lot o watts and multiple subs will get the job done. My shit rattles so bad, with the windows up it sounds like its going to explode.

k thanks for treating me like a retad. i was trying to see if eliminating the rattles would allow people to hear the bass instead of just rattling. i know hwhat dynamat does. i figured maybe with alot less rattle would sorta maybe hear the bass instead. thansk assholes

BTW if for some reason I was bumpin in a neighborhood (which I usually don't in mine or my buddies, I will sometimes in some if its not late) and some old dude followed me, it probally won't be pretty in the end. You just don't get up and follow some kid.....people are crazy lol. I might even decide to set my gains with a 50hz test tone in front of your house the next day, I think you would love that .
