He should be flamed for being self-centered, rude, and inconsiderate. Keep your sounds in your vehicle. When I come to a stoplight I turn my system down. When I roll into a residential area or an apartment complex at low speeds the volume is already down. No one wants to hear your system. If you want to impress someone, go to the local Walmart parking lot far from everyone else and invite the person to sit in your vehicle.

I've seen it done. I've also seen woofers on on the trunk lid with just the magnet and wires holding it there. I think the guy said his woofers were gone after two days. Whether they were stolen or just fell off we'll never know. =p

Sheesh, 2 pages over this scenario, AGAIN. At least he got his answer. Loud outside of vehicle = douchbaggery. Deadener = not loud outside of vehicle.

Common sense=Sound Deadening=deadens the sound=holds sound in=keeps it all for you=helps the sound stage=No tickets.

You are the person that makes the communities and law enforcement push for more sound ordinance laws. Stop just get 1 8", 1 Tweeter, 6.5 mid bass and figure it the FU** out. These, look at me you can hear me 5 blocks away guys make me want to drag them from their vehicles and curb check them.

I am so tired of people driving around with 4 18"s and 2 4x6s in the dash thinking they are all that. I sat in guys car at work, he was like man sounds good doesn't it. I was like no you got 4 12s and 2 51/4 coaxials was someone actually singing or just all bass. Sounds like ***.

actually, hes my best friend he has decent stuff. 1 tweeter, 1 mid bass? i hope your were kidding. im taking it you were. you need help if you want to hurt someone because they play there music loud. he has it all tuned up, sounds alot better.

why do you want people outside of your vehicle to hear you anyways? i mean, sure some of your 16 year old buds that dont know boo s h i t about car audio are gonna think its cool, but the other 99% of the people hearing it hate you.

yeah, its cool to show your friends how loud your stereo is now and then, but let them sit inside your car, its 100x louder. It gets quite annoying when people can hear your car from far away, because they com eup and ask you about it, look at what you have, then pretty soon you'll be showing people you dont even know. These people that you dont even know you wont remember, and then when all your stuffs gone, you wont know where to look.

IMO, deaden you car, show your personal friends how bad@ss it is, but then keep the rest to your self.

Not trying to be mean. This thread is out there. Been in the car audio 17+ years alot of guys on here have been around that long or longer. Just sometimes we get a little irritaited at the if I just through 4 15"s in my car I will be cool. The girls will want me and people will respect me.IMO

Nothing wrong with 4 15"s. Heard many vehicles that where tuned properly and sounded great. They also still had the ability to get really loud, to the point of turn it back down please.

If you drive past my house and I am outside and you are playing it just stupid loud, I will yell at you and tell you to turn it down. One time only, next time I will jump on my banshee follow you home and make sure you heard me about turn it down or if a highschool have a nice conversasion with mom and pops.

I generally do not have this problem as most people in my neighborhood are in there mid 30's or older. We have some highschool kids in the neighborhood but they know to turn it down. They also like to stop and shoot the crap about looking at their system and improvements.

So really I am not a mean person. It was just my little rant of a wake-up call.

if i get dynamat or w/e sound deadening material and use it on my trunk will that allow people to hear the bass outside the car alot more? is it worth it?
